Volunteers needed for Highgate Fair in the Square 2025
Highgate Fair in the Square is one of the highlights of the Highgate Summer calendar when friends and neighbours come together in the village for a fun day out and to welcome visitors from further afield. The event is free and takes place thanks to a team of volunteers. The 2025 Fair in the Square is taking place on Saturday 7 June and the Fair Organising Committee is seeking volunteers to help on the day. If you are able to spare some time on the day to help with setting up, general stewarding and clearing up at the end of the day please get in touch as soon as possible. It’s a wonderful way to be part of a great community event and these amazing events only happen with the help of volunteers. If you can help please email Caroline at thefairinthesquare@gmail.com

The Fair in the Square is a free community event run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of the local neighbourhood. It is held each year on a Saturday afternoon in June and is run on a not-for-profit basis and with the generous support of local sponsors. We have around 10,000 visitors each year.
The Fair showcases local businesses, organisations and societies with stalls around Pond Square and along the length of South Grove. Every year we have a Dog Show, fairground rides, music and drama activities in the Children’s tent and a packed programme of music and dancing performances on the Pond Square stage. We often have a fire engine from Kentish Town fire station (when they aren’t putting out fires and rescuing cats!)
