Highgate Fair in the Square is one of the highlights in the Highgate Summer Calendar. The event is free & takes place thanks to a team of volunteers as well as our Sponsors.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The 2026 Fair in the Square is taking place on Saturday 13 June & we are now seeking volunteers to help on the day. If you are able to spare an hour or two on the day – morning or afternoon – to help with setting up, general stewarding or clearing up at the end of the day please get in touch. It’s a wonderful way to be part of a great event in our community & meet local people. As you know these amazing events only happen with the help of volunteers. Thank you for your support. NEW FOR 2026 - BIG RAFFLE!
We are excited to be holding an amazing Highgate Business Raffle thanks to the generosity of local Highgate businesses who have donated the fabulous prizes.
Tickets will be sold on the day at the 2 Organisers Stalls on South Grove and in front of St Michael’s church. All proceeds go to putting on the 2 major local community events - the Fair in the Square and the Christmas Lights 2026. Winners will be announced on 14 June 2026 (the day after the Fair)

The Fair in the Square is a free community event run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of the local neighbourhood. It is held each year on a Saturday afternoon in June and is run on a not-for-profit basis and with the generous support of local sponsors. We have around 10,000 visitors each year.
The Fair showcases local businesses, organisations and societies with stalls around Pond Square and along the length of South Grove. Every year we have a Dog Show, fairground rides, music and drama activities in the Children’s tent and a packed programme of music and dancing performances on the Pond Square stage. We often have a fire engine from Kentish Town fire station (when they aren’t putting out fires and rescuing cats!)
